Legendary Story about Roman Reigns

The Shield ( 2012 - 2014 )

Reigns debuted in 2012 alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins as The Shield, a dominant faction that attacked top stars and claimed to fight injustice. They quickly became unstoppable, winning major matches and championships, including the tag titles for Reigns and Rollins.

Reigns rose as the powerhouse of the group, setting a Royal Rumble elimination record in 2014. After defeating top teams like Evolution, the group ended when Rollins betrayed them.

Rise as a Singles Star

(2014–2019)

Reigns was pushed as WWE’s next top star, winning the 2015 Royal Rumble and headlining WrestleMania 31. Though he faced mixed fan reactions, he won multiple world titles, including victories over Triple H.

He feuded with major names like Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, and Bray Wyatt, and captured the United States and Intercontinental titles.

In 2018, Reigns finally defeated Lesnar at SummerSlam 2018 to win the Universal Championship.

Hiatus and Return

(2018–2020)

Later in 2018, Reigns stepped away after revealing his leukemia had returned. In 2019, he announced remission and made an emotional comeback, reuniting briefly with The Shield and continuing as a top star in WrestleMania.

The Tribal Chief Era

(2020–Present)

In 2020, Reigns returned with a new persona as “The Tribal Chief”, aligning with Paul Heyman. He won the Universal Championship again and dominated WWE.

Leading The Bloodline, he defeated top stars like John Cena, Edge, and Lesnar. At WrestleMania 38, he unified the WWE and Universal titles, becoming the Undisputed Champion.

Reigns continued a historic title reign, beating major challengers like Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn, cementing himself as one of WWE’s most dominant champions ever.
